Administrative Officer and Assistant to the Ambassador - Permanent Observer Mission of the sovereign Order of Malta to the United Nations - New York, NY
In my 'former life' as the youngest Administrative Officer in the history of the UN, I worked directly under the Ambassador to execute numerous responsibilities including: drafting/editing/delivering of speeches, letters, press releases, etc.; humanitarian policy and project analysis; budgeting, accounting and office management for the Mission to the UN in NY; liaising with UN Office of Protocol; meeting and event planning and servicing; fostering diplomatic engagement and establishment of official diplomatic relations; hiring and firing of support staff; archival maintenance; PA duties.
At the end of my tenure at the mission i was decorated with the Cross pro Merito Melitensi. wild stuff!
